Summer Showcase &
Dance Party
August 26th, 2006
Our 2nd Showcase was an absolute success. Thank you to all the dancers & family
& friends who attended to support our Show dancers and share in the evenings
activities. We had over 54 people in attendance and many well
wishers who could not make it. A special thanks to Nancy for announcing
the evenings events and helping with music. Also, to David for video &
photographs and general all around tech. man and support services! Also,
to Missy for her assistance with make-up and hair, and being the best partner
and friend a guy could ever want!
1st SET:
Megan (12 years old and 1st time dancing)
did a super duper Swing. Winova
(our veteran 10 year old dancer...her 3rd show now) danced a fantastic
Rumba. Lilly's Tango
truly transformed her into a Dance Diva! Michelle
floated on the floor to her Foxtrot number, "Fever".
Missy & John then danced a wooing
Waltz that wowed the crowd!
2nd SET:
Ellen's
"Lady in Red" Rumba was passionate & sensual. The newly
wedded Sarah & Todd Adams recreated their
1st wedding dance: a Foxtrot filled with emotion and love!
Sonja's West Coast Swing was
delightful and entertaining with a Country flair.
Missy & John finished the show with a pulsating Samba
bursting of energy.
