Sizzlin' Summer Showcase and Dance Party August 20th, 2011

The StudioDNA dancers were all decked out to present 10 Showcase dances for this Season's event! As always before each Showcase, a dance lessons is given and it was the Waltz.

John & Michelle are always so inspired by the triumphs of our dancers. Much thanks and praise goes out to all those that worked so diligently towards their dance presentation. We were pleased to welcome all our guests to the event. We had two firsts this evening: Patty danced with her new client Roy to a song that she choreographed. Congratulations to both of you for work well done. A special thanks goes out to Liza for being our DJ and Emcee for the evening and David for his tech support and video & photography work.

Dian & John danced a teasing and tempting Tango with tight body connection, sweeping fans, and subtle aggression. Sue & John shared a Foxtrot from the classy & sophisticated Sinatra years. Patty & John worked tirelessly on this challenging non-strict tempo Waltz to "Ave Maria". Cora & John's Tango brought out the temptress in this passionate woman as she danced her way through this "Bad Romance". Michelle & Karl shook the floor with hot hips and energy to a burning Cha Cha Cha. Bernice & John danced an intricate Triple Swing to a pop song that got the crowd smiling and cheering. Beth & John brought the heat and kicked it up a notch with her sassy spunky Salsa. Patty & Roy (1st time Showcase dancer) danced a Cha Cha that Patty choreographed and taught to Roy. Way to go you two!!! Liza & John danced a slick and smooth West Coast Swing that was guaranteed to "Sign, Seal, and Deliver" a good time for all. Michelle & John shared how they deal with the hot summer and the frustrations of life in general by dancing a slow and sensual Rumba using a lot of "Sexual Healing".
