Winter Showcase & Dance Party: February 21st, 2009

WOW...this was one of our largest Dance Showcases yet. We had 16 dance numbers that were exciting, energetic, and all were well executed and almost 70 people in attendance! Thanks so much to everyone for making this evening such a FUN success and great night of entertainment. A special thank you goes out to: Beth for being our Emcee and DJ during the show, David for technical assistance and videography, and Sonja for her taking photos during the evenings event. There are so many people that give their time and energy to make our Showcase evening a wonderful event....THANK YOU!

The 1st set of Showcases: The Jemicy Dancers performed an upbeat Freestyle Formation. Elaine & Barry shared a deliciously fun & fancy Foxtrot. Karl & Michelle's Samba was filled with fancy footwork and gyrating hips! Lauren led by Liza danced a lovely Waltz to "Edelweiss". Robin & Rainier made beautiful love on the dance floor through their expressive Rumba. Dian & John's Hustle, along with mini line dance, brought the house down. Andrea & John's Salsa was explosive with HOT LATIN energy! David & Michelle's "I Won't Dance" Foxtrot was a fabulous first adventure which made us all want to dance. Liza & John graced the floor with a gentle Waltz .

The 2nd set of Showcases: Lois & John whirled and whizzed by the crowd as they performed their fast paced Viennese Waltz. Andrea & Randy performed a romantic and slow sensual Rumba. Sue & John teased the crowd with a tempting and passionate Tango. Dian & Jerry danced the Waltz to the Eagles' classic, "Take it to the Limit" and showed such grace and poise! Matt & Michelle danced a Cha/Swing combo to "Bed are Burning" a late 80's rock classic. Karen & John got the crowd clapping and smiling to an old Swing classic. Michelle & John showed off their ability and technique to a smoldering hot Mambo.
