WINTER Showcase & Dance Party February 20th, 2010

Not SNOW nor ICE no BLIZZARD (we had TWO ya know) kept us away from our dance showcase. With close to 4 feet of snow we all managed to craw, climb, and push our way out so we could DANCE! A job well done by all. A special thank to all the friends and family members that came to see our showcase dancers perform. We had 12 wonderful dance numbers to perform. Thank you for your continued support!

Liza once again was our DJ, Emcee, and Hostess for the Show. A special thanks to David for his tech support and video & photography work.

1st SET: Elaine & Barry started off the evening with a beautiful flowing Waltz. The Jemicy Dancers performed a jazzy hip-hop funky freestyle routine. Wendy & Sheri (1st time dancers) showed us an elaborate and fun Cha Cha. Amy & John danced a way cool West Coast Swing to and R&B classics "I Heard it Through the Grapevine." Karl & Michelle got SEXY and shook their stuff for a Mambo. Dave & Patty (Dave 1st time dancer) shared a gracious and touching Waltz they prepared with John's guidance. Robin & John brought the house down with their STEAMY SPICY Samba.

2nd SET: Patty & John do-si-doed their way through a rock-pop country Cha Cha! John & Michelle danced a Cha Cha, Rumba, Merengue, Hustle Latin Mix to wow and thrill the patrons. Karen & John created a scene of a woman's 1st time out dancing as her gentleman danced her in a Foxtrot joyfully across the floor. Dian & John thrilled the ballroom guests with a strong and intense Tango. Dave & Michelle surprised everyone with a "secret routine" of Salsa that they had been preparing to show off for his wife Patty and the friends at StudioDNA...job well done!
