Maryland DanceSport Championships 2008 (February 2nd)

Michelle and Andy (Andrea) danced their hearts out. We got up about 4:00 AM and drove to the Bethesda North Conference Hotel to get ready....HAIR & MAKE-UP and be on the dance floor to start promptly at 7:00 AM....Oh MY GOD! Way to early for ALL of us. But, you know now the dedication we have towards our PASSION.

I am so very proud of Andy & Michelle and their hard work and dedication. Michelle danced her highest level so far and Andy has only been working on her competitive material for less than 2 months. A very special thank you to Sonja our official personal assistant to the dance stars, book Bitch (affectionately called....meaning she calls out our heat numbers and keeps us in check so we do not miss our dances), AND our photographer. Without her assistance these shots would not have occurred. Thank you so very much Sonja! Michelle's aunt Penny & uncle Tony, her mom Susan, Andy's husband David who came to be there with us and cheer us on! We also wish to thank all our friends and family that could not attend but sent us their love and well wishes for a happy dance journey......AND THAT WE DID!!!

Michelle: 1st in Salsa. 2nd in Swing. 3rd in Rumba

Andy: 1st in Rumba, Salsa, Hustle, Merengue. 2nd in Swing.
