Maryland DanceSport Championships 2009 February 5th & 6th

Karl with Michelle & Andrea with John danced in this years MD Comp. at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference Center. It is a gorgeous place to dance, take photos, and eat! We really enjoy Glenis Dee's competition and her staff are well organized, friendly, and very helpful!

We arrived early and John set up shop to do the gals hair and make up. Andrea & John danced 1st in Smooth and then Michelle & Karl graced the floor. Michael took the competitive shots on the floor. Thanx buddy! We had a very exciting time supporting each other as we danced. After our dances and the awards ceremony, we changed and proceeded to Chili's for dinner and drinks....yum yum!

The following day, Andrea & John hit the floor for the Rhythm dances. This was Andrea's 1st Comp. and she was also celebrating her Birthday. We are very proud of her and her dance accomplishments thus far! Andrea & Karl's dedication to their passion for dance as well as their own personal goals to achieve, look, and feel great, were very apparent at this event! WAY to go guys! Michelle & John are most wonderfully PROUD of you both!

Andrea: 1st in Salsa & Rumba. 2nd in Swing. 4th in Tango. 5th in Foxtrot.

Karl: 1st in Foxtrot, Waltz, Tango, & Viennese Waltz.
