FALL Showcase & Dance Party: November 17th, 2007

What an awesome supportive turn out we had. THANK YOU so much to those who came and to those unable to be with us we thank you for your well wishes. StudioDNA had a FANTASTIC FUN FALL FEST! With almost 70 people in attendance, the studio performers were more than happy to give it's patrons a show! Having come to watch, cheer, share in the fun, dance, and participate in this evening of dance, our patrons are a vital part of our event! It was such a wonderful night of energy, excitement, and enthusiasm! We began the evening with a Foxtrot class and kicked it into high gear after that!

A special thank you goes out to Beth for being our Emcee and DJ during the show. Her wit and charm add so much to enjoyment of the evenings events! Thank you as well to David who video tapes & photographs & lends technical assistance to all the performances. Besides choreography, performance, and all around "den mother" John styles the dancers hair & applies make-up, assists the dancers with costumes, shoes, and jewelry. StudioDNA is a one stop shop!!! 1st set: Megan (not pictured below) started off the evening with "Boogie Shoes" to a HUSTLE. Dian & Jerry kicked it up a notch with a purple passioned SAMBA. Tamar's RUMBA to "Say it Right" was a steamy sexy hip-shaking HIT! Ariana (our 9 year old Latina DIVA) swiveled and wound it up to "Whine Up" in a marvelous MERENGUE. Michelle & Karl partnered each other for the first time to produce and amazingly technical and spicy SALSA.

2nd set: Lois danced a mad hot MAMBO to "Tequila" and then drank in all the applause. Sonja's CHA CHA was Grrrrreat, complete with tiger-like footwork and stalking stealthy SEXY siren moves! Donna & Brian showed the crowd what can happen when hard work, dedication, and LOVE is combined to put forth a well-executed and partnered RUMBA. Elaine's flawless QUICKSTEP was complete with kicks, jumps, and an array of cardio dance wonderment! Michelle's graceful, flowing, and sensitive WALTZ left the crowd wanting more....GENIUS!

FYI: This was Ariana's 1st time performing. This is the 1st show EVER that we have had two Amateur Married couples dancing: Dian & Jerry and Donna & Brian. StudioDNA is so proud of ALL the dancers and so pleased to have these talented and focused individuals perform!
