Fall Showcase
& Dance Party
November 15th, 2008
This was an exciting evening filled with
dance for everyone! The dancers put on a great show & the house rocked
for the more than 50 people in attendance! Our lesson that evening was a
Salsa. A special thank you to Liza & Sonja for taking turns
to Emcee and DJ. Thank you to Sonja and David for photography. Hair,
make-up, choreography, dresses & gowns, and overall artistic creative energy by
John. And, Thank you to David for technical assistance, videography, and
overall fix it guy!
1st
SET:
Liza & John danced a funky hip hop Cha
Cha. Karen & John (1st time Showcase
performer) performed a sexy & sensual Rumba.
Ari & John kicked it into high gear with a
fierce Salsa. The Loyola
Ballroom/Latin Dance Troupe executed a 5 couple Tango Formation.
Michelle & John whirled away to an
Old Fashioned Waltz. Dian & John
showed the crowd a Quickstep that was filled with kicks,
jumps, and lots of energy!
2nd SET:
Karl & Michelle
danced a Tango filled with
drama, passion, and anger! Andrea & John
(1st time Showcase dancer) graced the floor with a light-hearted
Foxtrot to "Hello Dolly". Emma & Stinson
excited the crowd with an amazing Cha Cha.
Sonja & John teased and played a
Triple Time Swing to "Pink Cadillac".
Michelle & John finished the evenings show with a Country Kickin'
steamy West Coast Swing.
