Paris in Fall, October 2004!
Again I was asked to be a travel companion to my friend Marie. We stayed
with her mother, Marie-France, for yet another TRES Fabulous week. I went
out on my own a few times and it was the adventure of a lifetime for me....small
town, never traveled anywhere, only child, guy like me!!!!! I went to
Musee d'Orsay & had dinner alone, walked the wrong way on La Seine at
dusk...YIKES, shopped the Champs-Elysees, back to Montmartre to shop some more,
The Latin Quarters for a drink, & a cafe-au-lait next to Notre Dame. I am
so absolutely thankful to Marie and her family and her country for such an
amazing time of my LIFE! Merci beaucoup Paris. Tu
me manques.
